Assignment Description

A large case management system within the public sector is being replaced by newly developed system solutions. The system is used for handling cases, mainly within the administrative law area, with a strong focus on service to citizens.

In the role of Test Lead, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of robust and quality-assured systems with high societal benefit. The system support is used daily by approximately 1,000 users, and the solution is available to all employees within the organization.

You will work in a cross-functional team consisting of project leaders, developers, and technical specialists who work agilely and in close collaboration with the business. The IT solution is built based on the needs of the business, with a microservices-based architecture and applications developed in Java and React.

In the assignment, you will be responsible for coordination, planning, and execution of quality assurance and testing within a comprehensive new development initiative. You will also drive the ongoing work to further develop testing strategy and methodology together with the team and business representatives.

The work is based in an office in central Stockholm, with the possibility of flexible working hours and hybrid work (up to two days per week remotely).

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that testing work is carried out according to established guidelines and standards
• Develop, follow up, and further develop testing strategies and test plans
• Be responsible for test environments, versions of services, and test data
• Lead and coordinate testing work
• Conduct risk analyses and develop test cases
• Participate in the execution of manual and automated tests
• Report status, test results, and deviations
• Manage problems and deviations that arise during the testing process
• Continuously work on improving testing processes
• Collaborate with the business on quality assurance and acceptance testing

Mandatory Requirements

• Relevant post-secondary education in IT or equivalent acquired competence
• At least 4 years of documented experience in the role of test lead
• Experience working with automated testing and associated tools
• Experience in change or development projects in large-scale and complex technical environments
• At least 4 years of experience with agile working methods and frameworks, such as CI/CD, DevOps, Scrum, or Kanban
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working in security-classified or regulated operations
• Certification in ISTQB or equivalent
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Zephyr, and Cypress
• Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, and version control of test data
• Experience working in the public sector or legal-related operations

• The expected start date for the assignment is May 9, 2026
• A security clearance will be conducted for the role in accordance with applicable regulations
